Step 1. Discuss your high school study program
Making sure that your whole family is confident with your decision to study abroad is an essential part of a successful program. We recommend discussing your high school program with your parents and guidance counselor before submitting a complete application.
Step 2. Process your application
Consult with your local representative for detailed application procedures.
Step 3. Acceptance Process
Once GCEF has received your completed application, the application review and acceptance process begins. The process has two main parts - an interview and acceptance into the selected program.
Step 4. Pre-Departure Orientation to Study Abroad
Two to four weeks before your departure, you and your parents will participate in a comprehensive pre-departure orientation. Typically the orientation will cover topics such as: adapting to a new culture, tips for getting along with your host family, academics and school life abroad, logistics for your arrival etc. |
